How Spin Galaxy Handles Your Personal Information
Last updated: 27.10.2026
This policy explains what personal information Spin Galaxy collects from players in New Zealand, why we need it, how we look after it and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies whenever you create an account, play, deposit, withdraw or contact our support team. By using your account, you accept the practices set out below.
Information We Collect
We ask only for what we need to run your account safely.
- Sign-up details. When you register, we ask for your e-mail address and date of birth, along with any other personal details the sign-up form requests.
- Verification documents. Every account must be verified, and this typically happens before your first withdrawal. The documents involved are a photo ID and something that proves your address.
- Payment information. Every deposit and withdrawal leaves a record: which method you used, how much moved and when.
- Gameplay and account activity. We keep a record of your bets, bonuses, loyalty points and the safer-play settings you choose, such as deposit limits.
- Support conversations. Messages you send us through live chat or by e-mail are stored so we can follow up on your request.
- Technical data. We collect basic device and browser information and use cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
Why We Use It
We use your information to open and manage your account, confirm your identity and age, process deposits and withdrawals, apply bonuses and loyalty rewards, answer your questions, and keep the service secure. We also use it to support your safer-play choices: if you set a deposit limit or ask for self-exclusion, we need your details to apply it correctly.
Who Can See Your Information
Your data is seen only by the people and companies who need it to deliver our service: our own support and payments staff, and service providers that help us process payments, verify identity or host our systems. Each of them may use your information only for the task we give them. We may also share information where the law requires it, for example to prevent fraud or money laundering.
How We Protect It
SSL encryption covers everything travelling between your browser and Spin Galaxy. Access to player records is limited to staff whose role requires it. You play your part too: keep your password private, don’t share your account and sign out on shared devices.
How Long We Keep It
We keep personal information while your account is open, and afterwards only for as long as we need it for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.
Your Rights in New Zealand
On request, we will give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you and correct any part of it that is inaccurate or no longer current. You can also ask us to stop sending you marketing at any time. To make a request, contact our support team by live chat, which is open 24/7, or by e-mail. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request, so that nobody else can see or change your data.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled a request or a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner:
- Post: PO Box 10 094, Wellington 6140
- Phone: 0800 803 909 (NZ Relay available)
Cookies and Your Browser
Spin Galaxy runs in your browser, so cookies do much of the everyday work: they keep your session open, remember your settings and show us which parts of our service get used. You can clear or restrict cookies in your browser settings at any time. If you switch off the essential ones, signing in and using the cashier may not work properly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our service or the law changes. The date at the top always shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects how we use your information, we’ll let you know before it takes effect.
